These two had the absolute perfect fall day to get married! The day started out with the ladies getting ready at church.  You need to take a look at the awesome shoes Cassie got! They exchanged notes to each other before their first look- I think that I might suggest that to all my couples from now on! What a special moment for them.  After their first look we took a ton of photos outside of the two of them & with the bridal party.  Their little guy is SO cute- he was such a trooper throughout photos, and didn’t he look sharp with his cute little tie?!  After the ceremony, we headed to the reception, which was one of a kind! I loved how rustic it was inside, and Cassie’s decorations went perfect!

Enjoy looking at the photos!

Jay & Lauren are such a laid back couple, they were fun to work with because they had 100% trust in Jason & I, which made for great photos.  Besides the fact that we almost stepped on a snake while taking photos outside of the church, it was wonderful day, with beautiful light to work with! Their ceremony took place at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kimball, which had a lot of great locations for taking photos inside & outside.  After the ceremony they headed to their reception at the Great Blue Heron in Cold Spring.  Loved Lauren & Jay’s entrance to their reception, where Jay gave Lauren a piggy back ride! After supper, we snuck outside real quick for a few photos, and I am so glad that they agreed to do, I think they are some of my favorite photos to date!  Loved the soft dreamy light, and their relaxed look to them!

Dusty & Ashley were our first couple in a 100 weddings that chose not to see each other before the ceremony. So we didn’t do our usual “first look” set up, instead before the ceremony we did some photos of Ashley & the girls while Dusty was hiding, then tucked Ashley away, and did some photos of Dusty & the guys. We were all excited to see what Dusty’s reaction would be to Ashley walking down the aisle, and of course it was priceless.  After the ceremony, we went to Munsinger Gardens and did all their family, bridal party & bride & groom photos there.  It turned out to be a great location for such a variety of photos.  The reception was held at the St. Cloud Civic Center, where the decor & food was amazing!  We snuck outside in between speeches & their first dance to take advantage of the scenic view of the Mississippi from the balcony!  Hope you enjoy the photos:

  • Jane WImmer - Amy these are absolutely stunning pictures! Thank you for the beautiful memories you have given our family!!

Dana & Tyler’s wedding was a big milestone for us– it was our 100th wedding we have photographed in the past 6 years!! We had a wonderful time spending the day with such a great bridal party & an even sweeter couple. I couldn’t help but smile while I was editing their photos– these two are so in love, and it made for such great photos.  The way Tyler looks at Dana, it’s priceless!

We started out the day at St. Mary’s Church in Willmar, where the guys & girls got ready. We had a special moment for Dana & Tyler to see each other, and then started their Bride & Groom photos.  After that, we added the bridal party & families.  The rain held out while we did some quick photos at a park in Spicer, in between the ceremony & reception.  We ended the night at the Willmar Conference Center, where the food was delicious, and Dana’s mom made individual pies for everyone for dessert!
