Jimmy & Crystal – Norwood Young America Wedding Photographer

Jimmy & Crystal’s big day has been a long time coming– I can only imagine the excitement when Jimmy popped the question to Crystal while she was riding along in his milk truck! Since Jimmy & Crystal both grew up on dairy farms, it was the perfect engagement, they were married 7 months later!

There were so many beautiful details from their day that I absolutely loved! Crystal’s love for music was so nicely incorporated into the decor- she made little paper flowers out of sheet music!  All of the decor was crafted up by Crystal– and none of it was like anything I’ve ever seen before! It was so much fun photographing all the details! Take a look at the cute wreaths she had as pew decorations in the church!

Everyone got ready at St. Bernards Catholic Church which ended up being this beautiful location for photos, we ended up doing most of them inside, since it was pretty chilly out!  You need to take a look at the bridesmaid dresses, I was in love with them!  They are all the same concept, but each bridesmaid had a different style dress.  The tan with black lace really popped, and wasn’t the traditional “fall wedding” look. Crystal also spoiled all the bridesmaids with custom hair pieces that she designed– they had feathers & a broach on them, which is something they could definitely wear again– so smart!

Crystal’s dad had secretly handed out homer hankies that said “Got milk” to everyone at church, so when Jimmy & Crystal were pronounced husband & wife, everyone was waving these white hankies in the air– the reaction on Crystal’s face was priceless!

Then we got on a party bus & since we were so close to the Bongards Creamery, we had to stop and take a picture by the big cow!  After all the bar hopping, we ended up at Mayer community center.  None the less, decorated beautifully!  One of my favorite most unique pieces of their decor, was the huge backdrops that had bible verses hand painted on them!

You need to check out all the hard work Crystal (and I’m sure Jimmy) put in to their day– hope you two had a wonderful anniversary this past weekend!
