I have known Amber & her family for a couple of years now & when I got an email from Amber saying she was engaged, I was so excited for her! But part of me felt kind of old– I did Amber’s senior photos which seems like not too long ago, but in reality it was one of my first years in business!
I loved the theme that Amber decided to go with for her wedding- navy, burlap, lace & sunflowers. It looked so good together!! Then when you add in her amazing dress & cute cowboy boots, this was the type of wedding I would love to have when I get married again (of course to Jason)!
The day started out at E-Free Church in Willmar. The ladies got ready in the fireside room, which made for some great backgrounds of photos. Bostyn came to the church once he was ready, and Jason did a couple getting ready photos of him as well.
Their first look & 99% of their photos took place outside, because the church has such beautiful landscaping & vines that were just starting to change color! Its a photographers dream! The bridesmaids all brought along a pair of cowboy boots to do photos in, and they all switched out of their high heels back into their boots after the ceremony so that their feet were comfortable!
After the ceremony, Amber, Bostyn & the whole bridal party went straight to the reception, grabbed & drink & then we did a couple more photos on the golf course at the Oaks. When you walked inside of the gorgeously decorated reception, you saw tons of candles, sunflowers, burlap & lace! Deanna (Amber’s mom) definitely has an eye for decorating for things like this!
Jay & I couldn’t believe how fast the day went– after we were all done photographing, Amber’s mom sent us home with a little treat for the road- cupcakes! They were so delicious!
