On a personal note…

Just wanted say a HUGE thank all my clients, friends & family for all the support the past month & a half.

On February 7th, my dad collapsed from an AVM (bleeding in the brain, similar to an aneurism).  We were originally told he had an hour to live, since then, he survived brain surgery, and is now in the rehab stage!  I have been back & forth between Willmar & St. Paul staying with my mom at the hospital.  I have tried to keep up with emails & phone calls, but apologize for taking a little bit longer than normal.  For all of you who know or have worked with me, that is my #1 thing that I stay on top of, client communication.  I usually return emails & calls within 24 hours, but lately it hasn’t been that fast.

It has been an emotional rollercoaster, but last week dad got transferred closer to home to a nursing home/rehab facility in Sauk Rapids. Which will be a lot easier to manage, since it’s only an hour drive to go and visit, versus 2.5 hour drive to St. Paul.

Today, I am back in Willmar sitting at my computer returning a bunch of emails & messages, but wanted to take a second to give a heartfelt thank you.  Thank you for all your patience, prayers & understanding through this time!

Here is my first ever family photo shared on my blog. Enjoy today & every day– you just don’t know how fast life can change.

Liz – Willmar Portrait Photographer

This is the second year I have gotten to photograph Liz & her precious little Annabelle for Christmas cards!

Gorans Sisters – Willmar Family Photographer

These girls get their photos taken each year for their parent’s Christmas gift– I was so lucky to be able to capture this year’s photos!  Mom chose to order the piggyback photo as a 20×24 canvas gallery wrap to hang above their fireplace– it was GORGEOUS!
