About

Hi!! Glad that you stopped by to take a look at my work!

A little about me…

  • I am in my 9th year of business, with over 110 weddings that we’ve photographed so far
  • I am an instructor at Ridgewater College, where I get to teach what I love to do–photography!
  • I’m one of the most indecisive people you will ever meet, I will think things to death before I actually make a decision.
  • I live my life by to-do lists. (Post-it note to-do lists, even better!) There is just something about crossing it off the list…

The road to where I am today… I went to Ridgewater College to get a degree in Graphic Design. I didn’t want to be done with college yet, so I decided to enroll in the photography program. Loved it. Didn’t miss a single class, took a ridiculous amount of notes and couldn’t wait to go to school each day. Nerdy, I know. Before I graduated with my photography degree, I had to do a month long internship. So I packed up some of my things, and drove to Texas! Crazy thing to do the summer before you get married, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I have made in my life! While I was down there, I worked with a variety of talented photographers that I learned so much from, and am forever grateful for. Now, to be back teaching at Ridgewater, it’s been amazing how everything has come full circle, I still get to be photographing as well as teaching what I love to do!

My husband Jason is my business partner & 2nd shooter for all our weddings.  He really didn’t know what he was getting in to (I put it in the fine print of the marriage contract that he had to help out-haha!) either way, we’ve had an amazing 9 years so far, meeting so many wonderful couples, can’t wait to see what the future brings!  We are cutting back on the amount of weddings we are photographing these days because we currently have two little kiddos that have been an absolute blessing to us & it’s been fun to be in this stage of life being parents!

I could go on and on about how much I love my job & where I am at today– but my hope is, that when I get to meet you, my love for what I am doing will be obvious!
